As promised I am following up my last post with photos from our trip to Cherry Wood Bed and Breakfast. It was a fun filled weekend of consisting of cozy teepees, new friends, amazing food and wine and sweet horses.
Here is the teepee we stayed in, isnt' the blue sky beautiful? We had perfect weather!
The inside of our teepee, the bed was soooooo comfy! All teepees have electricity available and a little fridge too. We are planning a return trip next year and will be stocking up on the snacks and dinner fixin's for evening BBQ.
This was the main dish for breakfast on the first day, lovely and delicious crepes, scrambled eggs to die for, and the best bacon I've ever had. There was a first course that consisted of yogurt, fresh berries and homemade granola but I ate mine before I remembered I was going to take a photo! It was that good! The second day we had asparagus quiche, roasted pototoes, and sausage. Same thing happened with the photo, ate it before I remembered to snap a picture!
The view from the teepee area, overlooking vineyards and orchards.
The outdoor shower, yes it is outdoors for real! Surprisingly refreshing and fun to take a shower in there! Wish I had taken the photo the first morning when the sky was blue, the second day was a bit overcast.
Another view from inside the shower.
Saddling up for the ride!
This is the view of the teepees from the main house.
The smallest of the teepees, beautiful late afternoon sky.
This was taken at Cultura Winery, they were having their release party/open house. Fun! Best hotdogs were served out of the retro trailer! They were from Portland but I can't remember the name.
My horse(that I rode for the winery tour), Nevada, a bit of an attitude, always wanted to be in front and break all the rules. We got along great, sweet horse!
Speaking of sweet horses, they don't come much sweeter or mellower than this one. His name is Apache and he was my mom's ride for the day. Perfect for new riders! We love him!(not to mention, he followed the rules) :)
And finally, we were treated to magificent sunsets both nights, that is Mt. Adams in the distance, you can also see the tip of Mt. Rainier, I just couldn't get both in the photo.
Looking forward to next year! :) We had so much fun, we booked for the same time next October. Loved it!
You can check out Cherry Wood here and Cultura Winery here, both are on facebook as well if you want to follow them there!
